Christmas Day may seem like a distant memory but it still feels seriously Christmassy in Sheffield as we're enveloped in snow. Normally I'd have enjoyed at least one proper snow ball fight, or have made a snowman but things have turned icy and a pregnant lady has to tread carefully #pregnancywoes. On Christmas day we were lucky enough to host my nan and uncle at my parents house, as well as my brother and sister in law so we had many giggles, enjoyed some rather delicious home cooking (good job mum) and thrashed the boys at a girls vs. boys game of Eggheads, result! While giving gifts is my absolute fave I was one lucky girl on the 25th of December and received some wonderful, Hannah-esque gifts...
Note this isn't me bragging or showing off. At Christmas these kind of posts are one of my favourites to read as I love to see what like minded ladies received. I'm incredibly grateful for all my gifts.
My friends and family couldn't have picked more apt beauty gifts for me this year. My pal Gemma picked the mum-to-be bath oil, while my friend Lauren got me the Nails Inc shade in Bruton Mews. Craig got me the Naked On The Run palette and the Nails Inc selection of colours while my brother and sister in law picked the divine smelling Jo Malone candle set.
In my stocking I found the Liberty London Girl book from Craig and those rose gold Zoeva make-up brushes (they're so soft) under the tree from the nearly in-laws. In my Santa sack (yes I'm five) I found the Bambi print pyjamas and the H notepad from my ma and pa.
My bud Scarlett couldn't have been more on point with my Wild At Heart print, especially as I'll become Mrs Wild in 2016. The vintage inspired globe was chosen by Craig, that boys got taste.
Life's always better with faux fur so I couldn't be more elated with these mittens from my 'rents.
I found the Salli Hughes Pretty Honest book in my stocking from C while my bro picked me the Prosecco candle, it'll be the closest I'm getting to Prosecco in a while! Craig also got me the beautiful Neals Yard Mother set, my Secret Santa picked me the sweetly packaged Ted Baker set and my ma and pa picked the Cowshed Winter candle. Can you sense a candle theme?
I don't think I've ever seen so much chocolate in the house, except maybe at Easter. Craigs sister got me the most amazing gingerbread man candle (I'm never burning it though, it's far too cute) and a super snuggly cape which didn't photograph well at all #bloggerproblems. Another cosy addition was my first ever onesie from my auntie and uncle, she's a beaut.
I've had my eye on a faux fur clutch forever so I'm thrilled to receive this cutie from my mum and dad - good pick momma!
Cowshed make the most divine smelling products so I can't wait to try the two miniatures in this adorable cracker.
The oh-no-you-didn't Santa discovery was this medium sized Pashli bag in navy by Philip Lim. My mum and dad have absolutely surpassed themselves and I can't quite believe I'm the proud owner of this beauty (I promise it looks much better in real life, I was losing the natural light.)
Did you have an amazing Christmas and get some wonderful gifts?
Wow that bag! Mega swoon! Such a beauty.
