Happy Sunday guys and a huge HELLO sunshine - I'm so thankful that the sun has finally decided to grace us with it's presence, I was starting to think I might have to wear jeans and boots on my birthday night out, panic over! I'm sure it's not just me who thinks sunshine makes everything better? Yesterday afternoon I found myself curled up like a cat in our garden room/conservatory lapping up the sunshine, I must admit it was rather delightful.

Todays post is full to the brim with fashion loveliness as it's my entry for the #PassionForFashion2 competition which is hosted by moneysupermarket.com. The competition asks bloggers to create a casual wear, a party wear and a holiday wear look each with a budget of £200. The judges are three blogging babes: Jen from a Little Bird, Natasha from Girl In The Lens and Olivia from What Olivia Did - oh and did I mention the lucky winner could win a whopping £1000 for a new Spring/Summer wardrobe. Keep everything crossed for me guys!

Casual Wear

Neon Stone Necklace, Chiffon Denim Dress, Marilla Toe Cap Ballerinas, Lemon Chequered Coat & Tan Shopper
The thing I love the most about my casual wear look is that it screams versatility - as lovely as the outfit looks together you could quite easily rock the lemon chequered coat to a wedding, try the denim and chiffon dress with Converse for an easy Sunday look or pop the neon statement necklace on with a simple dress for drinks with friends. As I'm currently saving for a house deposit I find myself buying less but (hopefully) better and I think this look is a fine example of that, you could easily buy this entire look and have the beginnings of a Spring/Summer capsule wardrobe, what can I say? I'm not just a pretty face.

Party Wear

Candy Stripe Origami Dress, Georgia Peep Toe Gladiators, Colour Block Clutch & Neon Gem Drop Earrings
As soon as I saw this dress on the Topshop site I knew it'd be the focal point of my party look - for me this screams jelly and ice cream as it reminds me of the type of dress I'd of worn as a five year old to a chums birthday party. Sadly I'm no longer five years old so to keep this I'm-shortly-turning-twenty-five appropriate I've added chunky black gladiator sandals which make this get up a little less girly before adding a clashing burnt orange clutch and sophisticated neon drop earrings. To complete this look I'd team this with a messy up do and a slick of Mac Morange lipstick...could this be a winning party look for my actual birthday? A girls got to have options and this is certainly a front runner.

Holiday Wear

Printed Shirt Dress, Oversized Catseye Sunglasses, China Blue Swimsuit, Lena Sandal & Stripy Waxed Shopper.
If you're a regular Cagney and Lacer you'll know how much I adore patterns, especially this seasons China blue style prints which remind me of something you'd see on an antique tea set so this swimsuit had me at hello (if swimsuits could articulate that is). For when I'm not lounging around the pool I'd throw on this almost patchwork print shirt dress which has a certain pool to bar vibe going on - make mine a mojito. A huge stripy shopper is one of my holiday essentials and I adore that this one has a waxed finish, cute and practical? What a winner! To complete the look I had to include tortoise shell sunglasses and black with gold hardware flatties which would look just as beaut after sunset as they would in the day.

Which look is gets your fashion pulse racing? Do you adore the candy stripe dress as much as me?
