Oh Sunday, I love you dearly but why oh why do you vanish before my very eyes? I've had a three and a half day weekend and I must admit, I could certainly get used to it. This extended weekend is one of those that I'll cherish forever - as a pre birthday treat my mum took me to Bath for the Bath In Fashion event and in just three short days we managed to fit in spa treatments, a fashion show, celebrity spotting - Jamie Laing and Jason Donovan, a talk with the truly inspirational blogger Liberty London Girl, a visit to a fashion museum and more shopping than you can shake a mascara wand at. A post is in the making!

Today hasn't been quite as fashion centric but equally as perfect - the boy and I took a trip to a local food market where we devoured venison burgers and olive bread as well as buying some beautiful blue and white vintage crockery for our home. So we may not have our own home yet but hey we've got plates and dishes! Craig even makes a cheeky appearance in todays snaps as it's always worth celebrating a good picture taken by my mum - sorry mum.

For food testing and market perusing my Topshop shift dress was the perfect choice, no-ones going to see that venison burger in this bad boy - it's certainly not going to win an award for the most flattering dress in my wardrobe but I adore how easy to wear and comfy it is, essentials for Sunday dressing. Keeping things simple I added my looks-more-expensive-than-it-is Primark necklace and the latest newbies to my shoe wardrobe, these red Loola loafers from Dune. I had my eye on these beauties last Sunday but sadly my local Dune didn't have my size, neither did the Dune in Bath however the lovely ladies ordered them (free of charge) to my home address on Thursday and they were sat in the kitchen on our return from Bath on Saturday. A huge thumbs up to Dune! To round off this pretty cas outfit I threw on my much loved Barbour jacket, an investment piece which must now have a minimum cost per wear price, I've worn it that much. This week sees the arrival of my birthday and I seriously can't wait as I've got some exciting plans in the pipeline.

Have you been wandering around markets and fashion museums this weekend? What have you been wearing?
