You know the scenario, it's nearly pay day but you find yourself somewhere with shops - knowing you shouldn't be buying anything at all you intend to make an iPhone list of all the pieces you're coveting which you will buy after pay day, who you kidding? On pay day! Then you find yourself in Primark clutching a pug print duvet cover and a clutch bag (sadly my bed is king size and said pug duvet cover was only a double), I leave with the clutch in hand. I don't know about you but sometimes that little pre pay day treat is a necessity, especially after an abysmal week of snow and chilling temperatures - this is how I justify things anyway.
So without further a do let me introduce you to my newest purchase, a pastel and black raffia style clutch with a rather delightful thin gold chain handle for wear either across the body or as a clutch. For six British pounds you honestly can't go wrong, am I right? Now I'll level with you guys, I never used to be one for Primark, please don't throw things at me! Don't get me wrong I used to buy the odd bag and pair of pumps but a lately, I'm a little obsessed. Push me into Primark (sometimes you have to as it's a little scary) and I can find a fair few beauties like my recent jewellery find plus how cute are the pyjamas? Nowadays I absolutely relish a trip to Primark so if you're not already on the Primark train then get on it.
My new raffia friend may just be making an appearance this weekend as my best pal and I are off out on the town, watch out cocktails - we're coming for you! I can't believe that a four day weekend is nearly here, I for one cannot wait to scoff Easter eggs, get my barnet cut (it's in serious need of a trim) and spend time with my nearest and dearest.
What do you think of my latest pre pay day find? Do you love a mooch in Primark as much as me?
Ahhh what a gorgeous bag! I do love a primark mooch but I always gravitate towards their pjs haha. I will be keeping an eye out for this little bargain xx
ReplyDeleteThank you Sandy! Ah it's not just me then? I just love the patterns on their pjs, they're always so cool.
DeleteI love Primarni for a mooch and I'm all about the pre payday treat, if I have money left come payday I feel it should be spent as a well done for lasting haha!! Gorgeous bag! Xx

I like your thinking Alice, it's done well to stay in the ol' bank account so why not spend it?! Thank you lovely x
DeleteI'm a bit dubious entering Primark too. It's the manic hustle and bustle of people scrambling over hectic rails! That said, their stuff recently has been fab and if I happen to venture in on a quieter weekend, I can handle it a but more, ha! That bag <3 L x

The hustle and bustle can be seriously scary, having said that their offering is definitely better then it has been in a LONG time. You should definitely pop in early on a Saturday! Thank you Lauren x

DeleteI have just checked your blog out and it's rather fab, new follower alert :)
Absolutely love it :) I am a huge Primark fan ever since I stepped into my first one here in Madrid. It took me a while to convince my bf to tag along but once he did it, he too loved it and is now a fan!
ReplyDeleteLove the new purchase too!
I never realised they had Primark in Spain, that's awesome! They do have some amazing mens clothes too.
