Ash Gang Boots in Midnight Suede: c/o Cloggs*

Well hello March. You may have arrived with premenstrual weather but I'll let you off. How nice does it feel to wave goodbye to February and embrace a, dare I say Spring month? It's all just far too exciting in my book. My mum turned photographer yesterday to take these pretty snazzy snaps (thanks mum) before we headed off to lunch at Couch which was SO good, I've now had cake and lunch there and both times the scran has been exceptional. Don't be thinking I had a chilled out day though, oh no - I clearly had a nesting spree spending most of the day cleaning and then doing a mini changing rooms on our dining room. Fingers crossed I can keep it looking so darn pretty.

Khakis making huge fashion waves this season so it felt right to get some in my wardrobe pronto. I actually featured the classic beige version of this mac in my Wednesday Wishlist but after spotting Suzie in this khaki hue an order had to be placed. I love how this jacket just screams Spring with it's chic cut and lightweight finish, Topshop you've done good. The real piece de resistance though has got to be my new Ash Gang boots, you thought I was going to say my newly acquired Ca Va tee didn't you? Well that's pretty smart too, especially for the bargain price of £20.50. Who doesn't love a forgotten gift voucher? I've admired Ash boots for as long as I can remember, the designs are timeless and give more than a nod to certain high-end designers plus you never hear a bad word said about the brand so I'm thrilled to finally call a pair my own, thank you team Cloggs - you speedy delivering little lot.

Are you craving khaki for the Spring season? Have you swooned over my new Ash boots?

*The Ash boots were kindly sent to me by Cloggs.

Ripped Knees & Maternity Stripes

Wednesday, 18 February 2015

Coral Coat: Reiss
Premium Soft Jersey Breton Stripe Maternity Top: ASOS
Pastel Statement Necklace: Anthropologie
Friendship Bracelet: Links Of London
Maternity Ripped Knee Jamie Jeans: Topshop
Leopard Print Chelsea Boots: Warehouse
Medium Navy Pashli: 3.1 Philip Lim
You know that feeling when you get your hair done and you love it that much you don't want to wash it? Yeah that. I know I've said it before but I'll say it again, how do hairdressers manage to get your hair so perfectly coifed? If only I could wake up with such a curly mane - I miss my four year old locks. Todays outfit shots may look like they've been snapped in a local park but this teeny peace garden is actually a stones throw from our house, literally. Must take more pictures here stat.

I'm sure if you look closely (and not even that closely) you'll spot my rapidly advancing baby bump - I can't believe I'm 23 weeks pregnant, where does time go? Dressing the bump is a doodle with Topshop maternity jeans by my side, I'm building quite the collection and my latest ripped knee pair could just be the best yet. While ripped knees may not be a fave with my nan I love them for adding a tough edge, the perfect accompaniment to my breton striped top non? I've been avoiding maternity tops like the plague until now - this ASOS number doesn't scream maternity and that's why I love it, ain't nobody got time for looking mumsy. Shout out to my Anthropologie necklace which I found in the sale just before Christmas. I'm obsessed. I'm also thrilled to be digging out my coral coat on ze blog, it's been a while since this baby made an appearance.

Tomorrow my bud Claire and I are heading to Nottingham for #BeautyChatLive and I could not be more excited, not only has it been a while since I stepped foot in Space NK but I finally get to meet two of my favourite bloggers, Lily and Anna who seem like the kinda girls that I'd be friends with in an instant. I'm far too excited for beauty chinwags and a Bills fish finger sandwich. Life priorities guys.

What do you make of my ensemble? Which bloggers would you love to be pals with?

Stripes, Checks & Leopard Print

Sunday, 18 January 2015

Blue & White Oversized Striped Shirt: H&M
Camel & Pink Check Scarf: Zara
Blue Leigh Skinny Jeans: Topshop
Leopard Print Boots: Warehouse
Medium Navy Pashli: 3.1 Philip Lim

Straight after taking these snaps I dashed upstairs, threw on my furry gillet, lit my This Works candle and snuggled up under a blanket in our spare bedroom, our home while the wardrobes in our room undergo some serious construction. Let's just say it's a tad chilly to be stood outside sans coat, I call it pie and mash weather. This ensemble may not be the most groundbreaking but it's certainly my kinda style. I sized up in my Colgate ad style shirt for that borrowed from the boyfriend look (well I have got a growing bump to think of) and added balance with skinny jeans. Accessories pull this look together. I can't get enough of these leopard print boots, good job Warehouse. Can you believe I'd misplaced this check scarf until my wardrobe clear out today? My neck missed you. Not forgetting the elephant in the room and the latest addition to my handbag collection, the medium sized navy Pashli. So I may struggle to close the fastening (it's not made for the heavy handed) but I'm sure you'll agree she's a beaut who can carry some serious shizz. Stylish and practical.

The weekend has been awesome as always, Saturday was a bit of a Hannah day as I got my roots refreshed at Volt. It may have been an early appointment but that left plenty of time for 'mooching the shops', read that as you will. Last night Craig and I went on a spontaneous date night and devoured huge burgers at Fancie, just delish. Today things have been low key with tidying and wardrobe action taking place, Craig constructing and me making room for my new purchases. Just a few more days and I'll actually have a useable wardrobe, huzzah!

What do you make of my simple ensemble? Have you had a jazzy weekend?

Don't forget there's still lots of beauty bargains to be had here in my blog sale.
