This happened - Hello October was right, this is awesome - Stocking up on essentials in Bath - NEED this Moleskine file - Hot elderflower cordial is awesome - Hello halloumi - Bath damage - I never liked the fireplace anyway - Stressed but well dressed - My dad did good - This one makes the weather better - Shopping with the future sis - This guy - Makes the best roasts - My contribution to gardening - Rainy day breakfast

Not to sound like a broken record but where did May go? It feels like yesterday I was compiling my April tales and now it's the turn of May. The fifth month of the year was a real mixed bag, May had the potential to be the month of the birthday come down but thanks to a well placed trip to Bath with my momma it was onwards and upwards. Other highlights include celebrating many birthdays, my dad haulin' in Sephora (on my strict instruction of course) and spending a lotta quality time with my main man - oh and we bashed the shizz out of our living room, a new fireplace is on the horizon. Giddy!

Obsessed With - John Lewis' one hundred and fifty years collection, amazing for two reasons. One who doesn't want to celebrate a Brit brand that's been doing it's own thang for a whopping century and a half and two have you seen the products they've produced? I've fallen in love with everything from Emma Bridgewater mugs to Mulberry bags and not forgetting the cutest stationary around. Here's to another 150 years, hooray for JL! Something which deserves a cheeky lil' mention is the Bourjois 123 Perfect CC Cream, now I've only been using this for the past two days (told you it's a cheeky one) but wowzers, it's the bomb lasting from 8.30am until 7.30pm. Could we have a make-up bag staple on our hands? I'll keep ya'll updated.

Lusting After - A new Summer wardrobe? Tall order I know but this girl is all about a challenge. Recently I've updated my rail with a few choice pieces but frustratingly everything I've been drawn to are for the top half - I need me some new trousers, skirts and while we're at it, Summer dresses stat. Bank balance, watch out.

Must Watch - Lily Pebbles has long been one of my favourite YouTubers to watch (and blogs to read for that matter) and in May she made a video that was a little different from the norm. Bloggers often (unintentionally) show the best bits in life, well who wants to hear the I did the washing and had an argument with my boyfriend comments? As such many get the impression that some blogging babes have the perfect life, Lily puts this into perspective with the help of a few pals - I'll not say anymore for fear of spoiling it but it's truly a fabulous concept. My teen years were never my fave (school could be hellish) and I remember been told that your school years are the best and subsequently fearing my older years, how wrong could I be? One to watch, bravo Lily!

Looking Forward To - My future sister in laws hen do in Brighton. Brighton has been on my to visit list forever so I can't wait to explore the lanes, stay in the most beaut townhouse, get my Bens Cookies fix and hopefully venture into Small Batch for a post hen party pick me up. If you're organising a hen party and are drowning in a sea of tacky merch then have no fear, I'll be chatting all things clucky later this week. You're welcome.

Did you have a marvellous May? Have you got big plans for June?
