With Spring feeling well and truly on it's way (my favourite season of the year FYI) I decided a little wardrobe refresh was necessary but the shops had other plans, instead of finding a few basics to spruce up my Wintery looking garms' I found myself coming home with a stash of homewares clearly the fashion shopping gods weren't on my side but I'm sure I heard my house do a little squee.
I actually popped in Primark for socks and flannels but you know how it is, one minute you're at shoes and the next you've spotted a grey patchwork throw which will look immense in your spare room aka the blogging room, just as soon as there's somewhere to sit that is. At £17 I thought this was exceptionally well priced especially as something similar in M&S would cost over £50 and the quality is not to be sniffed at either. Kudos Primark.
Next was our second port of call to grab the boyf a new pair of work trousers, mission accomplished I decided the till on home would be quieter than at mens (oh how the mind of a shopaholic works) needless to say I stumbled across a few gems which my mum rather kindly picked up. I'd spotted the large you, me and the sea bottle in one of Zoellas videos and even though I don't live by the sea I can still dream, plus it's pretty darn cute. As for the drinking glasses and heart shaped bowls, well you can never have enough of these in our household and won't the bowl just look adorable with mini eggs inside? Easter eats inside, did I mention these tumblers were an absolute steal at £3.50 (for two)? Next you've done it again.
Do you enjoy picking up bits for the home? Where should I be looking for basics?
