It's been a whole week since I last posted, my how time passes by when you're a busy kipper - this week hasn't been the best with a lot of personal things going on but yesterday turned my week around (and then some) as I got to celebrate the wedding of two of my dearest friends. Carl is the boyfs best friend and I've known him for ten years this Autumn while his new wife Claire is an absolute hoot, and while I've not known her as long, she's quickly become an integral part of my friendship group. Weddings are such a special day and I feel truly honoured to share the merriment of Carl and Claires 'I do' day.
The wedding took place at a beautiful, ivy clad mansion called Whitley Hall which is incredibly close to where I grew up as a child, I even drove past my parents old house this morning (just for old times sake). The setting of C&Cs nuptials felt precious to me personally as I remember visiting Whitley Hall as a child with my brother and parents for one of their legendary roasts so it was wonderful to revisit a place that I have such fond family memories of.
As for my get up, well it's a little different to what you usually see on this here corner of the Internet but hey, it was a wedding. My dress was picked up way back in December from that shop I forever talk about, Whistles. You may remember my pearl drop earrings from my Christmas show and tell while my silver sandals are still going strong after I bought them as part of my birthday ensemble last year. The only newbie in the wedding party is my bejewelled box clutch (which I perved on here), who'd of thought this would be from River Island? Those guys are seriously on it right now with their Spring Summer collection. Sadly I can't take credit for my hair, my wonderful hairdresser of nearly twelve years (gosh that's scary) did it, it actually resembled a bunch of roses (almost) from the back.
Are you a fan of my wedding appropriate attire? Do you dig my crazy curls?

Your dress is lovely, perfect for a wedding. The bride looks beautiful! Love the veil/hair combo x
