Pinch punch first of the month - Coco Cafe, my new fave - Pretty flowers from one of the best - After School Boy Blazer, she's a beaut - My life - Someone needs to get gardening - My friends know me so well - Practical and cute - Finally got my mitts on some Tarte - My new favourite cushion - Bedside essentials - ThrowbackThursday - Waitrose Halloween cake - Reds in Leeds - Weekend reading - This happened |
October was the month I finally waved goodbye to bare legs and embraced Primarks cosy tights, is there any other kind of tights to wear at this time of year? A major highlight for the man friend and I this month was welcoming our nearest and dearest to casa Cagney and Lace for a little shindig - out came the champagne and mini quiches as we talked life, houses and everything in between. What. An. Evening. Another fave in October was last weekends road trip to Leeds with my bud Lauren. Sadly we were sans Freddie (my beautiful god son) but sometimes it's got to be girls only - we perused Ikea for cake tins, ate beasty burgers at Reds and don't forget a perusal of Trinity... well it'd be rude not to.
October Favourites - This month I've rediscovered an old friend in the shape of my Laura Mercier Creme Smooth Lip Colour in Tamara Red which is the perfect colour for this time of year. I love how this brick red shade makes the most minimal of make-up looks come alive and makes me look as though I've made an effort, the formula is pretty spot on too.

October Bloglovin' - Right now I'm seriously digging Carolines blog. Not only is she a babe with some serious styling know-how but she too has recently bought a house and has been featuring a few homey style posts over on her space of the Internet. Oh and did I mention this girl can do some crazy nail art? That's a triple threat right there.
Lusting After - Without a moments hesitation it's got to be the palette du jour from Nars. Not a clue what I'm talking about? Well where the devil have you been? The only one night stand you'd ever want is the latest offering from Nars (the One Night Stand palette) which features a bronzer, highlighter and four blush shades. This may have made it on to my Christmas list, you have a Christmas list at twenty five right?
What have you been loving in October? Have you rediscovered any forgotten favourites?
