When things get a little dreary outside the only thing to do is close your eyes and imagine you're in a tropical climate sat on a beautiful sandy beach, lapping up the suns warm rays devouring a cocktail or four. For times when day dreaming fails there's always this lemon and white striped Carrie shirt from Monki to brighten your day. 

After spotting Sammi hauling a rather vibrant yellow skirt on her You Tube channel I just had to get myself on the Monki website and see what all the fuss was about. Rather unsurprisingly I spotted quite a few Cagney and Lace friendly picks including this little beauty. Tucked into my new high waisted J Brand skinny jeans or worn as a beach cover up on holiday with denim cut offs I know this sheer sherbet-esque shirt is going to bring a much needed burst of sunshine to my Spring/Summer wardrobe and more importantly to the weather outside.
