Well hello Wednesday wishlist! I can't believe the last time I did a wishlist post I was on a business trip in Spain, my how time flies by. Is it wrong that I'm already counting down to the weekend? I'm beyond excited for Saturday (even though there's an early start involved) as the boy and I are off to my friends wedding - it feels like only two minutes ago that she got engaged and now it's nearly her wedding day. I can't wait to get glam and wedding appropriate but don't worry you won't miss out, I promise to take plenty of snaps - hopefully Craig and I might get a good shot together too. Since it's officially the first day of Spring (even though you wouldn't know it) I thought it was about time I started seriously contemplating my Spring wardrobe, here are just a few pieces I'm lusting after...

1. Flojoey Ankle Boots £54.98 - So these beauties might not be the most Spring like footwear you've ever seen but if you live in England you'll know that boots are practically an all year round staple, especially when it rains! These Flojoey ankle boots are the perfect go-with-everything colour yet are still interesting enough with more cute details than you can shake a stick at! I can see me wearing these with everything from breton tops and skinny jeans to toughening up girly dresses.

2. 1971 Two Tone Denim Shirt £89 - As a lover of all things Celine a tribute item is always welcome on Cagney and Lace and this two tone denim shirt is no exception. This shirt has a real shouldn't work but does vibe going on yet just looking at it makes me wonder why it isn't already in my wardrobe? I can imagine rocking this with skinny jeans or a leather skirt with tough ankle boots - I'm thinking of you Flojoey ankle boots, for a real seventies inspired look. Just call me Farrah Fawcett from now on.

3. Cooperative Contrast Collar Paisley Dress £48 - What is there to say about this dress of joy? Yes that's what I've termed it, no judging! This reminds me of something the lovely Lauren would wear with some black opaques and vintage style brogue shoes. I plan on sporting this with a tan waist belt and a chunky knit cardigan plus black opaques as standard. I can see this dress being a wardrobe essential working just as well on a night out with friends as it would for a coffee and a catch up with my mum. All I need is a Urban Outfitters discount code to hit my inbox, here's to hoping...

4. Fluro Jacquard Spot Shirt Dress £55 - This could just be the prettiest shirt dress I've ever seen, I adore absolutely everything about it from the 3/4 length sleeves to the subtle yet chic polka dots. In my head I can imagine dancing around a Spring garden party, barefoot with flowers in my hair wearing this little number - in  actual life I think this would fit perfectly into the Sunday best category, whether it's afternoon tea with my mum or going out with the boys parents this dress fits the bill perfectly.

5. Winged Lady Tote Bag £85 - So I did warn you earlier that I'm all for a Celine tribute, now I don't doubt that there's cheaper dupes of the Celine Trapeze bag on the high street but look at this winged lady tote from Topshop. Made from 100% leather (well so it should be at £85) I can imagine this looking even better with age. No bag will ever replace my Alexa but sometimes I feel it needs a little rest and this bag could provide the necessary respite, how good am I at justifying an £85 purchase?

6. Soft Floral Print Trousers £35 - As a lover of all things patterned it'll come as no surprise that I audibly swooned as saw as I locked eyes with these ASOS floral print trousers. Not only is the print super sweet but the loose cut hits the perfect balance between casual and dressy - I can imagine wearing these now with a chunky waffle knit jumper, maybe even with this one which already has a permanent place in my wardrobe or come Summer with simple sandals and a clashing floral vest top.

What's your favourite pick from my Wednesday wishlist? Have you started buying pieces for your Spring/Summer wardrobe?
