Happy Sunday guys! My morning began with a seriously bad headache, the only downside to going out Saturday to celebrate my friends birthday - thankfully a bacon and sausage sarnie helped to kick my headache to the curb, take that hangover! This weekend has been a real winner and has included everything from a gym class, to a long dog walk as well as catching up with some of my closest friends. One of the real weekend highlights was a cookery class the boy and I attended at the Milestone restaurant which was a Christmas present from my brother and his girlfriend - we had the best time and cooked up a real storm racking up a total of four courses!

Today's outfit pictures were taken yesterday after the boy and I got back from our lesson, the sun had been shining in Sheffield so I could actually go outside without having to rock a jumper, hat and scarf combo, result! I was a seriously happy bunny to see the sun with his hat on as it means Spring is finally on it's way - plus it's my favourite season (hello birthday!) As I knew I'd need to be able to roll up my sleeves to cook I went for my parrot print blouse from Zara which I bought on my trip to Barcelona. I decided to team this with my blue faithful skinny jeans from Oasis which are so stretchy and comfy yet manage to fit me perfectly. To give my ensemble a casual edge I added my much forgotten white Converse trainers which haven't really got a look recently while my red velvet trainers have been on the scene. To ward off the chill I added my much loved Zara studded sleeve coat and Mulberry Alexa bag, well I won't go anywhere without it! Keeping jewellery to a minimum I added my Astley Clarke ring which the boy bought me for Christmas and my lilac Links of London friendship bracelet.

You may have also noticed that my hair is a little different - I popped to the hairdressers on Friday for a well needed barnet sort out. I had my colour refreshed and also a little trim so please excuse the straight hair, I promise it won't be staying round for long! I hope you're all enjoying your Sunday evenings as much as me, I'm waited with baited breathe for 9pm which signals the arrival of the latest episode of Mr Selfridge.

What have you been wearing this weekend? Have you whipped off a few layers now the sunshine is here?
