Sat on my brand new Loaf sofa eating a piece of lemon drizzle cake (sorry Craig if you're reading this) life couldn't get much sweeter right now. Just what is it about new furniture that gets me so giddy? Rather excitingly the furniture fun doesn't end at sofas as today we're getting a new cabinet for our dining room although I've had to promise Craig this'll be our last home related piece until our wedding, gotta get those priorities right. Yesterday we welcomed a princess into the world (who looked incredibly snug in her little lemon hat) which got me thinking about my birth, it's approaching so fast. Tomorrow I'll be 34 weeks pregnant, where is time running off to?
Todays outfit snaps were taken Friday which was a whole lot sunnier than today, why does rain always rear it's ugly mug on a bank holiday weekend? My visions of a garden picnic have been well and truly shattered. In the past I've always steered clear of repeating items on ze blog (as I'm sure most fashion bloggers do) but let's be real, we all have those favourite pieces which we wear time and time again, which couldn't be a truer fact than during pregnancy. This boohoo striped midi dress has been an absolute God send, it can literally be worn anywhere providing you switch up your accessories and it still manages to look chic. Similarly my rather crumpled looking khaki trench has been a Spring staple and I've no doubt it'll continue to be a Summer friend, it's incredibly lightweight yet effortlessly pulls an outfit together. Throw in a navy fedora (a birthday gift from me to me), sequinned Converse and my favourite carry-all of the moment and you have the ideal running errands attire. Now where's the rest of that lemon drizzle?
Do you find yourself wearing 20% of your wardrobe 80% of the time?

Thanks Shannon, you can't beat a hat! It's so tricky to get out of your comfort zone and wear the rest of your clothes.
