Today is my 27th birthday! I'm hoping to be surrounded by cake, balloons and flowers right about now although I don't mind if things aren't in that exact order. While I may not be sipping on glasses of prosecco this year I'll be enjoying a mocktail or six for sure, don't you worry. To mark my 27th year on planet Earth I thought I'd look back at the twenty sixth year of Hannah and talk life moments, things I've discovered or just silly things I've enjoyed. After all who doesn't enjoy a lifestyley post?

1. October the 13th 2014 became one special day as my boyfriend, roomie and best friend proposed to me on a beach in Norfolk. I said yes.

2. After little deliberation (what can I say? We're decisive) Craig and I set a date, get your hats at the ready - we become man and wife on Saturday 16th April 2016.

3. Three days before getting engaged I vowed to wear the blue Manolos should I ever get married and I'm a woman of my word.

4. A few weeks after getting engaged I found out I was pregnant. We couldn't be happier and will be welcoming our new arrival in June.

5. We went on our first couples holiday to Sardinia, it was absolute blast.

6. I visited ASOS.com, yes actual ASOS. It was everything I'd hope it'd be and some.

7. Remember my brother who set a wedding date? Well he got married, it was the perfect day and I gained a sister-in-law.

8. I got my first onesie, what did I do without it?

9. My peanut butter obsession reached new heights thanks to Rosie and the best snack, slices of apple with a huge dollop of PB. Dreamy.

10. Our home renovations have finally come to an end, until we can have the kitchen of our dreams that is.

11. Speaking of renovations we tackled our hideous bathroom earlier this year, it took a grand total of 3 weeks but gosh was it worth it. Hello bath of my dreams.

12. Wedding planning is so much fun - we've got the church, venue, cake, photographer and bridesmaid dresses all in the bag.

13. Mean Girls the musical became a thing, I cannot wait.

14. My bud Claire and I got to meet our favourite bloggers Anna & Lily at Beauty Chat Live, they were even more gorgeous and down to earth in person than we expected.

15. Chocolate flavoured milk became my go to beverage, who'd of thought it?

16. Everything happens for a reason.

 17. I upgraded my car to epic proportions, I've never been so thankful for my four wheels.

18. I finally got to visit Brighton for my sister in laws hen party, it's such a vibrant and fun place that I'm dying to go back to.

19. I became independent conscious and starting giving my local Costa a wide birth to discover independent coffee houses instead, Sheffield is FULL of them and some are real gems.

20. A trip to Manchester went down as we caught Peter Kays charity show, Rave On and Jerry St Claire were epic. 

21. Claire and I also got to meet the beautifully turned out Redknapps who were absolute babes.

22. Succulents became a new obsession, I now have two and counting...

23. Visits to the Krispy Kreme drive-thru became a pre Ikea thing. Don't knock it until you've tried it.

24. My mum and I went cray in Burberry, she got the most amazing dress for my bros wedding and I got to try one of those amazing capes.

25. We got to see the Arctic Monkeys for maybe the sixth or seventh time, they were on top form and made me beyond proud to be from Sheffield.

26. I can't believe that this time next year I'll be celebrating my birthday on my honeymoon with my husband and bambino.

27. I've got an inkling that my twenty seventh year may just be the best yet...
