Beauty is something I rarely talk about around these parts, it's not that I don't love blusher, lipstick and moisturiser as much as the next gal it's just that when I find a product that works I tend to stick with it, which doesn't make for the most interesting reading. That said when I find something that does work, I have to put fingertips to keyboard.
Since finding out I was pregnant my skin has kindly taken itself on a roller coaster - we've had ups and serious downs but it's finally on the straight and narrow and I'm partially putting this down to my new skincare regime. Say hello to Pai skincare.
Pai is a London based organic skincare brand specifically targeted at sensitive skin (try and say that fast) which crept onto my beauty lovin' radar sometime in November. As luck would have it Pai ran a Black Friday deal to end all deals so I picked up the Pure Hydration Starter Kit for £77, a right ol' bargain as it'd cost over £160 to buy the whole caboodle now.
In my kit I got the Camellia & Rose Cleanser - a creamy beauty which leaves my skin feeling fresh and plump morning and night, the scent is heavenly too. The Rice Plant & Rosemary Skin Tonic - a super light and refreshing toner which doesn't leave my skin feeling tight, just nourished. The Perfect Balance Blemish Serum which is something else - I don't know how this milky serum manages to keep blemishes at bay/reduce them immediately and boost my skin but it really does. The Geranium & Thistle Rebalancing Day Cream, how such a lightweight moisturiser keeps my skin perfectly hydrated I'll never know. Final additions to the kit include the Echium & Argan Gentle Eye Cream, delightful but nothing to shout about and the Kukui and Jojoba Skin Brightening Exfoliator which gives my face an instant glow, this smells pretty awesome too.
I know skincare is incredibly subjective and what works for one can cause havoc for another but I'd be amazed if you tried a Pai product and didn't love it. I've been using this line up of products every morning for six weeks (and counting) and I cannot rave about this range enough.
Have you ever tried anything from Pai? What staples are in your skincare routine?
