When a brand gets in touch with the opportunity of testing chocolate you don't say no, throw the adorable packaging, the British heritage and the fact that the branding is so on point into the mix and I'm waiting at the door for the post man to arrive. The Grown Up Chocolate Company is bridging the gap between Hotel Chocolate and Cadburys with its luxurious, seriously indulgent bars which are reminiscent of childhood favourites but made with grown ups in mind. Why should children have all the fun?
The huge sampler box* that arrived on my doorstep contains each of the nine bars available including my particular faves Dark Chocolate Smoothie (rich and velvety), Salted Peanut Caramel Cracker (a souped up Snickers) and Fruit & Nut Hunky Dory (why would you ever eat fruit and nut again?) A huge mention has got to go to the packaging, I love the cheeky names and the chic but oh so cute images on each box. Makes a change from a standard wrapper right? Now I should be telling you all about the amazing taste but I reckon describing chocolate is akin to recounting the way a perfume smells, tricky so I'll say this if you fancy a naughty treat that's incredibly moorish and will actually satisfy a chocolately craving then The Grown Up Chocolate Co are the way to go. Sure they're a little more expensive than you're average Cadburys bar at £2.50 but I promise you won't be disappointed.
Now what am I going to do when this sampler box is officially finished? *Runs to website*
