July was the month my diary became the most jam packed it's been all year. Fact. The Tour de France got a big Yorkshire welcome and saw me waving like a goon, two trips to London went down within a week of another - one for crazy panic mother of the groom outfit buying (try and say that fast) and the other to celebrate said mothers birthday. Tramlines music festival came to Sheffield and rocked. Oh and my brother got married! July you certainly don't do things by halves. With so many occasions in the iPhone it would have been easy for them to all merge into one but one thing that made each date stand alone were the people involved. This month I've seen so many family members and friends which for me has made July one month to remember.
Obsessed With - Vita Coco in the lemonade flavour, oh my days this stuff is tasty. I must have tried every flavour going and without fail I've turned my nose up, until now. This is absolutely dreamy on these hot, humid days we've been experiencing and is one serious thirst quencher. You can thank me later. While we're on the subject of fruits let's talk raspberries and most notably the Early Harvest Scrub from The Body Shop*. This really is the most dreamy smelling body scrub, I mean who doesn't want to slather something resembling raspberry jam on their bod and wave goodbye to pesky dry skin? This hasn't left my shower all month and I'll be devastated when my tub runs out. A must try.
Lusting After - It might seem wrong, especially with all the sunshine in the sky right now but I'm already lusting after my Autumn Winter wardrobe. Yes really. As fun and as playful as Summer is for me it's always been about those Autumn Winter pieces. With the 60s been huge this coming season I'm thinking how I can channel my inner Julie Christie, where I can get the best knee high suede boots from and I'm wondering when I'll finally master a beehive. Please let it be this year.
Must Watch - Is it too late to tell you all to watch The Honourable Woman? I've been gripped all month to this BBC drama packed with more twists and turns than you can shake a stick at. Another absolute favourite of mine has just returned to the screen for it's third series, I'm talking Scandal guys and boy is it a winner. I watched the welcome back ep with Craig the other eve and I was gasping and oohing all the way through, plus Kerry Washington is a serious babe.
