I will never be a make-up artist nor will I ever master eyeliner (I'm still praying to the make-up powers that be on that one) but if there's something I do know, it's bases. Bases are my babies - with one quick buff of the Real Techniques brush they transform your natural visage into something a little bit special, a tad more glam and generally a whole lot more put together enabling you to face the day ahead, literally. Full coverage bases may be the make-up bag main stay for some but I like mine light and buildable, something you can master in a matter of seconds so precious weekday sleep is not interrupted. Enter the Bourjois CC Cream which I thought I'd give a bash after Lisa Eldridge sung it's praises. Now don't get too bogged down by the CC Cream title, to me it'll always be a tinted moisturiser come light foundation with that all important SPF15, essential for this time of year.
What I love about this little tube of goodness (perf for travelling FYI) is how little you need to even out your complexion and achieve glowing from within daytime perfection. I pop this on at 8am, sometimes with fingers or a brush if I'm feeling fancy and find it lasts all day long, accept for the dreaded shiny t-zone which seems to rear it's ugly snout whatever base tickles my fancy. Damn you combination skin! Finish wise this Bourjois babe ensures things look au naturel, neither flat and matte or overly dewy, just that healthy yes-my-skin-is-this-good look. Fancy seeing me wearing this? Pop here, here and here. Admittedly I'm a total base snob so it's all kinds of cray that I'm loving this Bourjois find.
On grand reflection this reminds me of the Dior Nude BB Creme but at a third of the price (£9.99 compared to £30) so if you've ever fancied getting your mitts on that BB cream but don't fancy parting with too much cash then I suggest giving this a try, I promise you'll not be disappointed.
Have you ever tried the Bourjois CC Cream? What's your go to everyday base?
Right now in Boots you can buy two Bourjois products for just £14, bargain right?

Sounds lovely, I've never tried a Bourjois base. Maybe this could be my first!
