Oh lazy Sundays, how I've missed your casual embrace. The past few weekends have been planned with military precision and while I enjoy a little forward planning isn't it dreamy to have a whole two days in front of you without a jot in the diary? True to form I spent Saturday getting a tad spendy in those Summer sales, some are far too good to miss (namely Zara and Victoria Secret) although I never buy anything I wouldn't have picked up full price #truestory. Today things are all kinds of relaxed, I'm catching up on household chores, pottering around our abode dancing to Kelly Clarkson and popping inside and out as the sun says hi and then fades away while the boyf helps his brother tile his hallway, he's a goodie.

With the UK Summer in full swing I decided it was time to crack out the shorts, my pale pins (must fake tan) and an ever so slightly cropped tee - no-one needs to see my stomach in full force, I'll save that for the young ones. I've only ever bought accessories and beauty bits from & Other Stories so these shorts and a sale jumper are my first foray into their ready to wear collection. & Other Stories is a print girls dream so it'll come as no surprise that I was drawn to these mint pastel lovelies immediately, and paired with my embellished crop this is day to evening BBQ dressing at it's best. It'd be wrong for me to sign off without mentioning the elephant in the room and by that I mean my bow headband which in case you didn't know is akin to Marmite. Both Craig and my mum gave me interesting looks on spotting this proudly perched on my noggin' but I like it so who cares. My inspiration? That babe Suzie who has the most wonderful turban-esque headband.

This week I've realised just how much of a hoarder I am and how I have a strange penchant for collecting carrier bags so my POA for the final week of June is to get sorting, wish me luck?

Have you been sporting your Summer best? What do you make of my headband?
