I can't believe that twelve hours ago I was sat putting these snaps together sat on the townhouse sofa in Brighton. British train service, I love you. Since returning to the mother land I've made a return to Zara and visited my dad for a belated Fathers Day catch up before crashing out on the sofa. Good effort right? This weekend has passed by in a sea (literally) of clucky giggles, girly chats and a mountain of food, prosecco and Pimms, maybe not in that exact order but you get the gist. In case you haven't already heard I was in Brighton for my future sister in laws hen (she's the babe in the mint jumper) and it went perfectly although I must admit a weekend in Brighton is nowhere near enough. Apart from the rather loud seagulls the place is awesome and somewhere I'd love to return to pronto so I can really explore, read peruse the shops.
Hen highlights include dancing in Dirty Blonde, riding the helter skelter, roller coaster and other fairground rides the morning after the night before #truestory, chowing down at Jamie's Italian, the food was divine and singing our hearts out in Lucky Voice. I need my own personal tambourin in my possession. Brighton I miss you already.
This week is going to a busy one - four day weeks are always manic at work (playing catch up is never fun) and I'm gallivanting back down south on Thursday for a sneaky afternoon trip to ASOS HQ. To say I'm excited is an understatement although fingers crossed I'll be back to full strength mid week. This weekend has not only battered my bank balance but my immune system too, I'm lacking in essential beauty sleep and my under eye bags are growing by the second. On that note I'm off to zzzzzz....
Have you ever visited Brighton? Did you fall head over heels too?

Sounds like a great weekend! Love your sandles! :)
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to hear about your other trips you have planned.
