Floral Print Jumpsuit: Oasis Stressed White Clutch: Zara Silver Glitter Sandals: Zara Simple Friendship Bracelet: Accessorize Feather Necklace: Alex Monroe |
Putting together this post made me realise just how terrible I am at posing with a big cheesy grin being my go-to look, although that could be because I've finally found a jumpsuit I adore which begs the question why was I so dubious of jumpsuits in the first place? Not only are they an outfit in one but they're incredibly comfortable and perfect for Summer occasions where day to evening dressing is the norm. I also realised my pooch likes to photo bomb my shots but ain't nothing I can do about that. I jazzed this Loved by Mollie number (FYI that's Mollie Sats who is hands down the most effortless dresser around) up with my silver glitter heels from Zara and the coolest white clutch which was a birthday gift from my pal Lauren. I've never gravitated towards white bags before but this clutch is something else, it's the perfect size and the slogan is the bomb.
This was my ensemble of choice for my uncles fifth birthday soiree at the fancy casino in town. For once I didn't actually have a flutter but instead ate conscious amounts of pulled pork canapés and drunk a few more gin and tonics than I care to remember, cue fuzzy Sunday head. This week I finally feel settled as the house is almost ship shape after damp course fun, read not fun at all. I've also been wearing my supervisory hat for the arrival of our new fence which involved eating ice creams and napping in the sun while the boys worked. It's a hard position to come by but someone had to do it. This weekend has been glorious although I can't help but think England would come to a mighty stand still if it was this hot all the time. Summer is officially here even though my wardrobe doesn't show it. Must. Try. Harder.
Have ya'll been lapping up the sunshine? Do you enjoy a jumpsuit?
