Hello Sandro - It's a sad day #nomorebioderma - Throw Back Thursday - Thank you ma and pa - My beautiful mum - Hemp pancakes with peanut butter, oh yeah - Kez likes to try and conceal my spending - Big hair, don't care - This happened - Ace of the base - Just one sleep - An Insta worthy birthday breakfast - The awesome cake my momma made - Look what I found - My friends are the best - Possibly my favourite card

April will always be the month of anticipation, rather naughtily I wish the month away willing my birthday (the 26th in case didn't you know) to arrive quicker. Apart from the obvious April also saw the purchase of my first Chanel foundation which I absolutely adore, Craig and I finally had our first BBQ (it was cold but meat filled) and I came third in the Refresh Rather Than Relocate competition with Look Again, hello £250 of vouchers to tart up my blog room! Dreamy day bed you will be mine. Oh and I did a whole lotta shopping, oops. After what felt like a lifetime of wearing Wintery garms I got my act together and made Bambi sized steps towards a Spring Summer wardrobe. Expect new outfit posts and maybe even a Spring haul on Cagney and Lace real soon.

Obsessed With - An accurate response would be birthday cakes or Easter eggs well I did get four of each, my real love this month however has been my Kiehls Ultra Facial Cream. I used this when I first started Cagney and Lace but after having my head turned by many a moisturiser I started to mix it up, a lot. The great thing about this product (and the whole Kiehls brand) is how simple but effective the products are, no fussy packaging it's just a little worker bee of a moisturiser. I'd been using a La Roche Posay offering in an attempt to curb my Rodial habit but found it wasn't hydrating enough leaving me with a few dry patches but the Ultra Facial Cream has banished these unruly areas for good. I've also been digging the Kiehls Creamy Avocado Eye Cream, it's a super thick consistency but when played with turns into a silky under eye dream plus there's always time for another avocado in my life.

Lusting After - Lighter hair! For the past six months or so, possibly longer I've been embracing my natural hair colour with quite a lot of golden blonde through the mid lengths and ends but for Summer I fancy a change. My Pinterest inspo board is growing by the minute which is the most perfect alternative to hair magazines, my favourite locks feature warm, honey hues and my celebrity inspiration is the one and only Sienna Miller. My appointment is Saturday so keep your eyes peeled for somethin' a tad different.

Looking Forward To - Did someone say May had two bank holidays and there's a gallivanting sesh to Bath in the diary? I'm wholeheartedly embracing the month of May, I just hope the weather decides to take a leaf from Aprils book. These grey days can do one!

What did you get up to this April? Are you overjoyed to welcome a new month?
