November has been a right ol' mixed bag as I've found myself working a trade show in Harrogate, getting my black tie on at a charity dinner, turning princess for the day at my my twin cousins birthday party (have you seen that birthday cake?), not forgetting bridesmaid dress shopping for my future sister in laws wedding - throw Christmas shopping and a trip to Leamington Spa to celebrate my friends engagement into the blend and you've got a speedy round up of my month.
One thing I've been reminded of this month is what's truly important to me, as much as I adore splurges in Space NK and buying snuggly knitwear the things I treasure the most are my nearest and dearest. Life's far too short to sweat the small stuff, something that's been brought home to me this past week so going into December I'm determined to seize every opportunity to cherish the ones I adore and I urge you to do the same.
November Favourites - This month I've been obsessed with skirts, usually one for a pair of black faux leather skinnys or an easy throw on dress I've been surprisingly embracing separates especially skirts. My favourites right now are a faux leather skater skirt from Primark, the Marley Check skirt and this floral skirt both from Oasis - teamed with thick cosy tights, an angora sweater and a pair of boots I'm ready to run out the house in record timing. An outfit post is on the way...
Random winner - As hot drinks get their festive on my favourite at home festive tipple has got to be Mulled Wine instant tea from Whittards which is the perfect Winter warmer, especially when I'm getting my blog on. This non alcoholic beverage would be the result if hot Ribena and mulled wine had a baby, it's that good.
Favourite You Tube Video - The rather wonderful Lily Pebbles recently reached 100,000 subscribers (go Lily) and to celebrate uploaded a Mr and Mrs video with her boyf, cue lots of laughter from the boy and I, yes Craig actually sat and watched a YT video with me and laughed! If you fancy a giggle and want that instant feel good factor then you to check this out pronto.
If you haven't a Scooby Doo what to buy your loved ones this Christmas then you'd be cray not to give Lisa Eldrige's Christmas gift guides a gander, everything featured is serious lust worthy and you can win the lot. Merry bloomin' Christmas!
Lusting After - With the festive season fast approaching I've been thinking about what I'd love to find under the Christmas tree and have even compiled a bit of a wish list here in case you were wondering. Gifts aside one thing I'm on the hunt for is a party outfit for the celebration of three of my friends birthdays - as they're all in December and with some closer to Christmas than others the girls have decided to combine festivities this year for one big night out. I for one cannot wait, if only I knew what I was wearing...

I don't know which I'm most envious of your blogging room or that wallpaper! As much as I could be the poster child for Space NK splurges I have to agree with you, I think this time of year reminds us of that :)
ReplyDeleteThank you lovely, you really can't beat a bit of Next for wallpaper!
DeleteHa I can imagine you as the poster child now, I wouldn't be far behind you to be fair but it's great to hear you agree with me. Christmas is definitely all about our loved ones :)
