Camel Hat & Studded Boot: Topshop Floral Print Dress: c/o Choies* Willow Clutch: Mulberry |
With the weather turning fifty shades of grey I found myself dashing outside to enjoy the last few glimpses of sunshine on Sunday and naturally taking a few snaps in the process, well it'd be rude not to, right? I'm a little bit in love with this floral print swing style dress - not only does it fit beautifully (hello waist) but I know this dress will instantly brighten any dreary Autumnal day and I can already envisage it with a chunky knit cardigan, black opaques and cute booties, thank you team Choies! For days like Sunday where there was a smidgen of September sunshine I decided to toughen up this beaut of a dress with my studded brown boots and an old favourite, my camel hat which is essential for covering up my current root situation, roll on Wednesdays hair appointment! Completing the ensemble is my Willow clutch which is the perfect size for all life's essentials.
The past couple of days have been prettymanic varied as the boy and I have both taken a few days off work to get things moving at the house, slowly but surely things are taking shape and we're now cracking on with our guest bedroom. As excited as I get when I start decorating a room I must say I look forward to seeing the end result more, that said I'm already itching to make a start on my blogging room - my auntie even suggested putting a B on the bedroom door, let's just say this idea got a huge thumbs up from me. I might even share a few before and after snaps of our DIY escapades so keep your eyes glued to Cagney and Lace.
Have you been making the most of the last rays of Summer? How will you be styling up your favourite pieces for the new season?
