I know, I know, I shouldn't be buying anything new but when I clapped eyes on this floral print dress in Primark it was hard not to run to the till and purchase it straight away but you know what? I didn't, although I did pick up these beauties instead. A few days after my nearly-purchase I spotted the gorgeous Milly wearing this exact dress with a pair of pastel Converse. As soon as I saw the Instagram pic I instantly regretted not picking up this easy-to-wear number so when my girl Scarlett said she was in Meadowhall she rather kindly ran the gauntlet that is Primark to pick me one up - what a gal!

Ya'll know how much I love a pattern so as not to distract things I added my nude Sam Edelman sandals which add a dressy somethin' somethin' and a few pieces of jewellery including this triangular necklace and infinity symbol bracelet (which reminds me of Revenge, FYI it's the best drama ever) from the lovely folk at Stylight. My final accessories include my beloved Willow and my newly acquired Ray Ban aviator shades which were surprisingly given to me by my dad who announced he longer wears them, score! These may just be my new faves, not only do they keep the harmful sun rays at bay but they cover a multitude of facial sins - I'm looking at you stressed out skin.

I can't believe the contrast in the weather, this morning my mum and I were gallivanting around town devouring Costas in the sun, now the man friend and I are sat listening to the pitter patter of raindrops and keeping our eyes peeled for bolts of lightening - fingers crossed it's not like this tomorrow as a picnic is on the cards. In other news I may have made a few cheeky home purchases in John Lewis today but I'll treat you to those another day...

Are you digging pretty florals this Summer? Does Primark do it for you?
