Denim Skater Dress & Floral Blouse: Warehouse
Camel Hat: Topshop
Willow Bag: Mulberry
Watch: Michael Kors
Python Jazz Shoes: Just Ballerina from Mywardrobe.com
After the sun made a mammoth appearance this bank holiday weekend it seems to have taken a vacation all of it's own, goodbye sweltering sunshine and hello grey days but never fear - according to weather forecasts the sun will be making a grand and very welcome return this weekend (I'm keeping my fingers crossed). Today's outfit was my way of willing the sun to come back and even just give us all a wave, even just a glimmer of sunshine makes you feel just a little bit cheerier, it even gives you an extra spring in your step.

I'd completely forgotten all about my yellow and grey floral blouse from Warehouse until I spotted it hiding at the back of my wardrobe - don't you just love finding an old wardrobe friend? Teamed with my much loved denim skater dress this get up has had me feeling more than a little Spring-like all day. Finishing touches to this pattern centric outfit include my camel hat from Topshop (perfect for hiding the fact that my hair is in need of a trim, tomorrow can't come soon enough), my beautiful Mulberry Willow bag and my newly acquired python jazz shoes from Just Ballerina - quite simply the comfiest shoes to grace my size sevens in a long while.

Warehouse has been one of my go-to shops for many years, they do pattern like nobody else and make clothes that actually flatter the female form - I love you Topshop but sometimes you're more for the straight up and down type than those with curves! Warehouse's latest viral campaign* is a cheeky one which shows ladies wishing for the sun to make an appearance and what they'll do when it does. I know how they feel...

Do you wear bright clothes and clash patterns when the weather is grey? Have you ever shopped in Warehouse?
