Make a statement with neon
Neon and laser cut outs? Sold!
Love this bright aztec clutch

Well hello Sunday, how do you always manage to come around so quickly - on the positive it's twelve days until my birthday, can you tell I'm getting excited? Oh and guess who won't be working another Friday until May? Me! This week I was incredibly lucky to be invited to the Spring Summer blogger event for new on-line retailer Pretty Little Thing, held in the brands home town of Manchester (you've got to love a northern retailer) in the most decadent and stylish of Italian restaurants, that's Rosso in case you were wondering. As soon as I arrived at the impressive Grade II listed building I knew it was going to be an event I'd never forget - warning, this is a picture heavy post!

After having a quick chat with a few of the lovely bloggers we were warmly greeted by glasses of prosecco and the super stylish Pretty Little Thing girls Toni and Hayley who told us to peruse the collection and let them know our thoughts. I was immediately drawn to the neon accessories table which featured a beautiful aztec print clutch, a statement lime green necklace and pretty floral laser cut clutch bags which would give any outfit some necessary punch. As much as I love a good accessory ya'll know I'm all about the clothes so with my prosecco in hand I began to make my mental shopping list...

A real blogger favourite, nearly all the girls were lusting after this one

Another blogger favourite

So I'll level with you ladies, I've always been a little dubious of online retailers like Pretty Little Thing - as a general rule you're more likely to find me perving over the beautiful clothing on mywardrobe.com than placing orders with online newbies. In all honesty this is due to my perception of quality, how can product so well priced be any good? I couldn't tell you the number of times I've ordered from ASOS only to be let down by the quality of my purchases, especially as you can't get a feel for quality from pictures alone. So I must admit I was more than surprised when I had a feel of the garments from Pretty Little Thing - the quality is seriously outstanding and the prices are phenomenal too. As I'm saving to buy my first house clothing purchases have been less frequent as I've tried to buy better however Pretty Little Thing allows you to make those trend led purchases guilt free - the quality is that good.

The Spring Summer collection from PLT is right on the money - they have a home run as all the key trends are covered from sportswear luxe to neon, not forgetting the much lusted after pastel shades and watercolour floral prints. My pictures are just a snapshot of the Spring Summer offering which I'm sure will wet your fashion appetite - I'll be checking the site daily for news on the cream crochet shorts, the nude and neon back jumper, the ombre forest print shirt, the black and white square print trousers AND not forgetting the neon and grey jumper. Even just thinking about my Pretty Little Thing wishlist has me excited for the warmer weather...sort it out weather man!

Not only did Pretty Little thing provide us with some serious style inspiration - I've genuinely not managed to get my two new favourite jumpers out of my mind all weekend (please come on-line soon) but with a rather delicious meal too. I chose the tuna salad to start and the lemon chicken for main and damn were they tasty! Whilst my fellow bloggers and I chowed down on the tasty Rosso eats the lovely Toni provided us with brilliant anecdotes from her fashion stylist career. As someone who has my ideal job but not necessarily in my chosen sector it was inspirational to hear Toni's passion for Pretty Little Thing.

My first blogger event was everything I dreamt of, and more. I don't know whether it was the smart setting (Rosso's is definitely one to check out if you find yourself in Manchester - if it's alright by Harry Styles...) the tremendous level of service or the obvious level of enthusiasm pulsing through the atmosphere from the entire Pretty Little Thing gang. Every last detail had meticulously been thought of which I believe is a true testament to what the Pretty Little Thing brand is going to become. It's rare that I, as a shopper feel the urge to support a brand but that's honestly how I feel about Pretty Little Thing, I even placed a cheeky on-line order when I got home! Did I forget to mention there's currently 30% off on the Pretty Little Thing website? I'll be amazed if you don't find yourself picking up a couple of pieces.

I'd like to say a huge thank you to Zelta from Wingfield PR as well as Adam, Umar, Toni and Hayley from team Pretty Little thing, not forgetting Steve the photographer for such a memorable event. Let's just say the next blogger event I attend has a lot to live up to.

What's your favourite piece from my snaps? Have you shopped with Pretty Little Thing before?
