I have recently been nominated three times (how amazing?) for the Liebster Blog Award. Now being a relative newbie to blogging I didn't have the foggiest about what the Liebster Award even was but with a little help from my friend Google I was right on track.

The Liebster Award is given to up and coming bloggers who have less than 200 followers - check! If you're scratching your head trying to place the meaning of Liebster then let me help, it's a German word which means sweetest, kind, nicest, dearest, beloved, lovely, pleasant, valued cute....you get the idea!

The rules for participating are as follows:

1. Each blogger should share 11 facts about themselves and answer the questions that the tagger has set them (I've done this x 3).
2. Create 11 new questions and choose 11 bloggers to answer them, don't forget to link them in your post.
3. Finally go to their pages and let them know they've been nominated.
4. Don't forget - no tag backs!

So I'd suggest grabbing a cup of your favourite poison (hot chocolate is currently my fave), get cosy and strap yourself in, this post is going to be a long one! I've missed a couple of questions out as there were a few duplications between nominations.

11 Facts About Me

1. I've known my best friend since I was four years old (twenty one years this year Gem!) Another friend and I were arguing with Gem and her friend over who should get to play in the wooden boat at primary school.

2. I studied Business Studies at Sheffield Hallam University. If I had my time again would I go to university....debatable.

3. I've always had a desire to work in fashion from a young age and did work experience at Oasis head office - I also got to the last stage of the Topshop graduate scheme.

4. I adore peanut butter whether it's on crumpets, burgers (try it) or even in cupcakes.

5. Everyone says that secondary school is the best time of your life but for most of it I was bullied, more definitely should be done to stamp out bullying whether it's physical, verbal or on-line.

6. I love cruising, some of my best family holiday memories are on cruises with my mum, dad and brother. There's nothing better than waking up somewhere different each day and I promise they're not just for the over 50s!

7. The first single I ever bought was 911 Bodyshakin'. I had all the lyrics down and used to dance around to it in my bedroom until my mum would ask what all the banging about was.

8. Mohamed Al Fayed (the previous owner of Harrods in case you didn't know) once offered me a job when my mum and I were sat in the juice bar/cafe in Harrods. I was only about fourteen so we'll never know whether he actually meant it or not.

9. I once went to see Razorlight in Manchester with the boy and forgot the tickets - my darling dad drove all the way to Manchester with the tickets so we could go to the gig. Now whoever I'm with is always dubious if I'm responsible for tickets!

10. I cannot abide rude people and bad customer service (I'm sure this stems from my days working at Gap) and would sooner walk out then give the shop/service my custom.

11. I love nothing more than making people laugh and have been known to sing songs terribly, usually Martine McCutcheons classic Perfect Moment. You've been warned!

11 questions from Felicity at That Bird

1. What's your favourite song? I'll never tire of listening to Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls, Teardrops by Womack & Womack and Give Me Strength by Snow Patrol.

2. Who are your style icons? How long have you got? Olivia Palermo, Blake Lively, Alexa Chung, Miranda Kerr, Diane Kruger and Millie Mackintosh to name a few.

3. What's your favourite film? I was asked this at work the other day and I really struggled to pick just one, if I was pushed it would have to be The Wedding Singer with Adam Sadler and Drew Barrymore.

4. Which four famous people, dead or alive, would you invite to a dinner party and why? My answer to this could easily change on an hourly basis but right now I'd invite Beyonce because well, she's Beyonce, Adele as not only can she sing but she seems hilarious, Jess Ennis because not only is she an Olympic champion, she's Sheffield born and bred plus she seems like a very down to earth lady and last but by no means least Michael Buble. Not only is he incredibly easy on the eye but he could have a sing off with Bey and Adele which Jess and I could judge.

5. What's your idea of perfect happiness? Is there such a thing as perfect happiness? I'm just as happy travelling and exploring places as I am sat at home with a cup of tea, a candle burning, relaxing with the boy. Happiness to me is spending quality time with the people you care about the most.

6. For which personal flaw do you have the most tolerance? I'd say I'm a very trusting and loyal person so as much as this is a positive in some respects it's probably as equally flawed.

7. Where would you live if you could live in any time and any place? I quite like the idea of living in England in the roaring twenties - everything from the clothing to the music appeals to me. My choice is probably down to television series' like Downton Abbey and Boardwalk Empire.

8. Where do you want to be in ten years time? That would make me 34, scary! I'd like to be happy and living in a beautiful home with the boy with my very own fashion and lifestyle boutique.

9. What would you do with one million pounds? Place a huge order on Net-A-Porter, travel the world, help out friends and family, buy a house and a London bolthole if the money would stretch that far.

10. What could you not live without? As corny as it sounds my close family, the boy and my friends.

11. Cheese is a type of meat, yes or no? Although it is a form of protein I'm going to say no.

11 questions from Keeley at Living In Your Imagination

1. Where do you see yourself in 5 years time? Living happily in a lovely house with the boy and blogging like crazy.

2. Do you have any tattoos or piercings? I have my ears pierced once - I'm personally not a huge fan of tattoos but each to their own.

3. Favourite item of clothing that never lets you down? It would have to be my black coated jeggings from Warehouse which can be seen here, here and here. They're the perfect item to throw on for days when you haven't got a clue what to wear and can easily go from day to night.

4. If you were told you could have one item free of charge for the rest of your life, what would it be? Would it be cheating to say anything from Space NK? I'd probably have to say my Eve Lom cleanser as I use it almost every day and even though it lasts ages it costs a whopping £55 for 100ml.

5. Heels or flats? Flats all the way, I occasionally do wear heels (usually on a night out) but at 5 foot 8 I tend to find I tower above most people when I wear heels.

6. What is your dream job? My dream job would be to have my own fashion and lifestyle boutique.

7. Twitter or Facebook? It's got to be Twitter, when I was at uni I loved Facebook and used to laugh at the idea of Twitter but now I'm addicted.

8. One item of clothing you would ban forever? I'd happily ban girls from wearing leggings as trousers, there's nothing I hate more than seeing someones underwear through their leggings. As much as I love leggings they should be worn with long tops that cover your bottom if you're going out of the house.

9. Celebrity crush? Ryan Gosling all the way - have you seen those Gangster Squad adverts? Serious swoon!

10. Now who is your embarrassing celebrity crush? There's just something about Horatio from CSI Miami (real name David Caruso) - definitely an embarrassing crush.

11. Who is your favourite designer? I would have to say Mulberry - I love how the brand started in Somerset, England and how they fly the flag for British design. I don't think I've ever seen a piece from them that I haven't coveted and don't get me started on the handbags!

11 questions from Sophie at Sophie Denise

1. Dogs or Cats? Dogs all the way - I used to have a cat but it was a little wild and didn't enjoy being handled much, it even used to fight with our border collie Sam.

2. Who inspires you? I'd have to say my beautiful mum - she brought my brother and I up fantastically (if I do say so myself) and always puts us first.

3. What's your favourite high street shop? It'd be a toss up between Zara and Topshop as that's where the majority of my wardrobe is from.

4. What's your favourite thing in your wardrobe? It would have to be my Mulberry Alexa bag, it's very rare I go anywhere without it.

5. If you could have any bag/pair of shoes what would it be? The Celine Trapeze bag, it's very chic and understated.

7. Country cottage or stylish apartment? If I'd of been asked this question a few years ago I'd of definitely chosen a stylish apartment but now I'd pick a country cottage without a doubt. I can't think of anything nicer than snuggling up with the boy in front of our own log burning fire.

9. What's your favourite book? My current favourite is still One Day by David Nicholls - my advise would be not to see the film if you love the book as Anne Hathaway butchers the lead character Emma.

10. What's your favourite album? Either 19 by Adele or Lungs by Florence & The Machine.

11. What's your favourite magazine? InStyle all the way - each page is beautifully set out and the way they put pieces together is genius.
